PhD student in Psychology

Hello, I am Margot and I am in my second year of a PhD in psychology at the Laboratory of Child Development and Education Psychology, at the University of Paris Cité, in Paris, France. I am funded by the statistic department of the French Ministry of Education. My thesis work focuses on educational inequalities related to family socio-economic background, gender and month of birth. In particular, I am investigating whether executive functions, metacognition, socio-emotional skills and well-being can explain these inequalities. To do this, I work with various databases, including panel data and data on representative samples. I use structural equation models, particularly cross-lagged panel models, latent change models, latent profile models, mediation models...
